Barilla fusilli pasta tossed in a rich Ukrainian-style pork-beef tomato meat sauce with onion, garlic and herbs.
Ingredients
- Barilla fusilli pasta — 400g
- Pork-beef mince Ukrainian — 400g
- Onion — 1 large
- Garlic — 3 cloves
- Tomato / cherry tomatoes — 300g
- Sunflower oil — 2 tbsp
- Cheese (grated) — 50g(optional)
- Salt — to taste
- Black pepper — to taste
Instructions

Cook fusilli in salted boiling water according to package instructions.

Sauté diced onion in sunflower oil until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute.

Add pork-beef mince and cook, breaking it up, until browned, about 8 minutes.

Add chopped tomatoes or cherry tomatoes, salt and black pepper.

Simmer sauce 20 minutes until thickened.
